 3月21日:「二十一世紀中大的一日」作品徵集

各位中大人、中大的朋友:

「書寫力量」邀請你用文字記下2013年3月21日這個平凡日子的所見所聞、所思所感,把個人的情懷、反思、回顧、瞻望匯聚成為中大歷史的年輪。

中國著名作家茅盾在抗戰前夕發起「中國的一日」徵文,以文字見證歷史;三十年前,幾位中大學生步武前賢,編成《中大的一日》,嘗試喚起中大人反省生活、反映時代的熱誠。儘管每個中大人所過的校園生活,所感受的學苑精神,未必一致,卻都是中大歷史的一部分。時光飛逝,中大也邁向第五十年,讓我們再一次為急促流轉的歷史塑形造像。

歡迎廣義的「中大人」(包括:中大本科生、研究生(包括兼讀生)、交換生、教師、職員、校友、退休員工、訪校學者,以至中大生員的家屬、在中大工作的非中大人員等)參與。詩、散文(中英文、古今體裁皆可)皆可,字數不限。徵集的作品將於網上發表,並精選部分編成文集出版。

請將稿件的Word檔案電郵到 powerofwords@cuhk.edu.hk,或將紙本擲寄:香港,新界,香港中文大學,馮景禧樓中文系,香港文學研究中心收。

來稿請具下列資料:

中大生員、校友:真實姓名、所屬系別/單位、就讀年級/畢業年份、聯絡方法;

在中大工作的非中大人員:真實姓名、所屬單位、聯絡方法;

*請注意,內容不必直接與中大校園相關。本活動並非比賽,不設名次及獎項,也沒有稿酬。

Members of CUHK,

The Power of Wordscordially invites you to record what you see, hear, think, and sense on 21 March 2013.  Allow your feelings, reflections, retrospections, and perspectives to become part of CUHK’s history.

Prior to the Second Sino-Japanese War, Mao Dun (茅盾), a renowned Chinese writer, initiated a massive writing event called “A Day in China”.  Three decades ago, a group of passionate CUHK students compiled A Day at CUHK to encourage members of CUHK to reflect on their lives and generation.  We may have different campus experience, but what we share becomes part of the history of CUHK.  Time goes by and CUHK's 50thAnniversary is approaching.  It is time again for us to inscribe in CUHK's history.

We welcome members of CUHK (including undergraduate and postgraduate students, exchange students, teachers, staff, alumni, retired staff, visiting scholars, respective family members, and non-CUHK employees on campus) to participate in this meaningful and memorable event. We accept poems and proses (in Chinese or English and in ancient or modern genres), and there is no word limit.  Submitted entries will be posted onto the Internet, and the selected ones will be published as a collection.

Entries (saved as Word documents) can be submitted by email, powerofwords@cuhk.edu.hk, or by post: Hong Kong Literature Research Centre, Department of Chinese Language and Literature, Fung King Hey Building, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, New Territories, Shatin.

For undergraduate and postgraduate students, exchange students, teachers, staff, alumni, retired staff, and visiting scholars:

The content does not have to be directly related to the CUHK campus.  This is not a competition.  There will be no rankings, trophies, or prizes awarded.
