香港中文大學於1963年10月17日正式成立；今年2013年為中大的金禧年。為向母校致賀，並彰顯中大校友的團結精神，「香港中文大學五十周年校慶校友活動統籌委員會」現正計劃於10月17日大學校慶日，於兩至三份本地報章刊登致賀廣告，恭賀母校金禧之喜。

Anniversary Congratulatory Advertisement on Local Newspapers
Dear Alumni,
2013 marks the Golden Jubilee of The Chinese University of Hong Kong! To
honor this special milestone and show the solidarity of the alumni community,
the CUHK 50th Anniversary Celebration Committee on Alumni Activities is planning
to place a 50th Anniversary congratulatory advertisement on 2-3 local Chinese
newspapers on the Foundation Day of the University on 17 October 2013.
The Committee would like to extend a special invitation to all alumni and
alumni associations to be a part of this once-in-a-lifetime celebration by
showing your support to this special advertisement through sponsorships.
