CU Alumni Magazine

CU Alumni is a 56+4 page full-colour magazine, in Chinese, published quarterly in March, June, September and December each year. The Editorial Board comprises a team of alumni with long years of experiences in media services. Director of Alumni Affairs is the Chairman of the Board.

Each issue covers special feature stories and articles on CU alumni, their works, their lives, their specialties, and impact of their CU days on their life perspectives. There are also alumni news in brief, and news on the University's latest development. CU alumni associations also use the special columns in the magazine to communicate with fellow alumni on their programmes and activities.

Since its first publication in 1994, CU Alumni magazine has been sent free of charge to all CU alumni who register their current address with the Alumni Affairs Office. Presently, CU Alumni has a circulation of close to 67,000 copies, and is a very popular publication well received by the alumni community.

If you are not receiving the magazine right now, it is probably because we don't have your latest address in our database. DO contact us with your address immediately.

With the number of CU alumni continuous to grow each year, cost for printing and postage of the publication has become extremely substantial. In light of this, Alumni Affairs Office has arranged to upload the full contents of each issue of CU Alumni on line, adopting both Acrobat and html / system and encourage our alumni to help us save cost by either:

We are very pleased that our appeal has attracted positive response from many alumni, whose support not only help us save cost, but also contribute to protect the environment, for which we are most grateful.
  • Alumni who decide to receive the magazine on line will need to inform us. Their mailing address will continue to be recorded in the AAO database, and they are also requested to notify AAO should there be address change in future.
  • Those who have registered to receive the magazine on-line, but subsequently wish to receive the mailed copy again could feel free to let us know so that we could resume the mailing service accordingly.
