The CUHK Alumni Association – US Midwest Chapter had a joyful Dinner Gathering at Mountain Chef View Restaurant, Chicago Chinatown on Oct 14, 2006. The food were great, the singings (Karaoke) very joyful, the chats and the laughter, the Friends and the Families are all parts of this very nice event. We had 28 people in this dinner. Thank you all who come from far and near for being a part of this, especially for Edward Ho coming from Ohio, Fiona Chen and Joy Xu from U of I Champaign-Urbana. They exemplified to all that distance would not be a disruption to the spirits of good friendship (Thousand miles bringing a goose feather, the item is light but the heart is most treasured). We miss those of you who could not make it due to schedule conflict or under the weather. Hope we'll see you next time.
