COUNSELLING SCHOLARSHIP 2008-2009 

The Chinese Cancer Society of Victoria (CCSV) is proud to announce the offer of TWO half scholarships in 2008 to students/community workers of Chinese background who are interested in continuing their education in professional counselling within the field of human services. 

The scholarship provides an amount of $6,250 for each recipient toward completing the course. The scholarship is awarded on the condition that the scholar is undertaking the 1-2 year(full or part-time), 1-2.5 days per week, Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Human Services with the Department of Counselling and Psychological Health, Faculty of Health Sciences, La Trobe University. 

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants need to

·        have completed an undergraduate degree in Australia or overseas

·        be fluent in speaking English, Mandarin and/or Cantonese

·        be an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia

·        be able to commit minimum 5 HOURS voluntary work at CCSV per fortnight between March and November excluding semester breaks.
