Personal Details
I studied for 2 years in Chicago, worked for 1 year in Hong Kong, studied for 5 years in France, worked for 2 years in England. Travelled everywhere I possibly could with no budget nor saving. Met people and visited as many historical organs and places as possible. Finally in 2003, got married with PDP Music graduate Joseph Yu and decided to come along to Australia with him. Then went broke completely after paying the shipping company to move my stuffs from England to Australia.
January 2004, I came with Joseph Yu my husband on a temporary visa.
I am just about to change job, but still the same nature. I’m Director of Music and Organist in a church. I give organ lessons to private students and students from ACU (Australia Catholic University). I perform in concerts and recitals quite frequently both in Australia and overseas. To keep myself in touch with the wider world, I am a part-time office assistant in a church in Brunswick where I do basic clerical works, I also work as a volunteer in the emergency food relief service in Preston serving residents in the city of Darebin. At the moment, I am applying to be a PR in Australia. Visit my website : http://www.geocities.com/jenchou98/
I have no direct relatives in Australia except my husband. He has finished his Master of Music in Trombone Performance in 2005 from the University of Melbourne.
Establish a good music programme in my position. Go back to Europe once a year to get recharged and to perform.

GREAT! Fantastic! The first association I contacted with when I arrived Australia was the CUHK Alumni Association in Victoria. They make me feel home and have family around. |
