- What did you do after graduation?
I worked as an
auditor for 5 years, then accounting in HK and work for some projects in PRC.
I stayed in Shanghai for 2 years before migration to New Zealand in 1997,and
then to Australia in 2001.
2. When did you migrate to Australia?
I came from New
Zealand to Australia in 1/2001. Australia is my second
migration.
- What are you doing now?
I am a life
insurance agent with AIA and also be part-time accounting
consultant for
commercial firms.
- Tell us something about your family
My wife, CK Tong
was also graduated from CU, same year 1983, Social Work/CC.
We have one
daughter, Christine, aged 10, studying year 5.
- What is your plan for the next 5 years?
Definitely is to
fix my health problem (I was poisoned by mercury from dental fillings for
over 20 years ¡V those silver one, very nasty) first, and then may be I
shall have a re-born life as those recovered patients said. Right now I just
don't have enough energy for managing the daily route, so just too early to
say new planning, but definitely will have something worth to share with you
guys later in due course.
- What is your motto?
Helping others is
helping us.
- Tell us something about the cuhk-aaa-vic
association. What do you like, what can be improved?
I can see the
association is growing steadily over these two years, more different
functions are being held and more new members (including committee members)
are joining us. Different people just bring in different talent and
different idea. I would say it is a success. I am sure we shall create more
functionality as time goes. We just need more input & participation.
